Jacob Tyler Brand Communications Agency Appoints Executive Vice President of Business Development

SAN DIEGO, August 9, 2011 — Today, Jacob Tyler, a nationally-acclaimed, full-service brand communications agency based in San Diego, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Davies as its executive vice president of business development. Ray will share responsibility with the leadership team in new business development efforts, as well as help lead strategic engagement and mobile marketing initiatives.

Prior to his work at Jacob Tyler, Mr. Davies served as managing partner of the j. simms agency, an advertising,marketing and public relations firm based in San Diego. He managed all revenue generating activities for the organization and was responsible for the creation and growth of several new business units, both regionally and nationally. Before that, he started and built a sales and marketing agency, Rebralex Corporation, which he later merged with the j. simms agency. Davies has also held sponsorship and strategic marketing management positions with IMG, International Exposition Center, Playhouse Square Foundation, and Westwood One.
