Organized thematically with the broader focus of Shapes and Symbols, the collection features logos that cover all categories of logo design, including typographic, illustrative, pattern-driven, and photographic. Three Jacob Tyler logo design projects were chosen for publication.


Logolounge Master Library Volume 2: Animals & mythology is the beginning of a new series of books by the authors of LogoLounge, featuring the ultimate collection of Animals & Mythology logos. Jacob Tyler has was chosen for this publication to showcase the Just for Girlfriends corporate identity.


Logolounge Master Library Volume 1: 3,000 Initial & Crest Logos is the beginning of a new series of books by the authors of LogoLounge, featuring the ultimate collection of initials and crests by category. Jacob Tyler has two logos chosen for this publication including the corporate identity for Dalina Law Group and University Thongs. Constantly looking for fresh inspiration, designers can use this new series to take a more focused look at core logo applications.


The Big Book Of Layouts: Over 2,200 submissions were received for Harper Collins new book “The Big Book of Layouts” and Jacob Tyler was chosen as one of 20 case studies for the publication. The expected publication date is May 2010 and the book will be 384 pages, hardcover with jacket. Jacob Tyler’s submission “Peace Love and Open Bar” will be featured in the “Cards & Invitations” chapter. The book will feature excellent layout designs from around the world, in a variety of categories including brochures, menus, calendars, magazines, posters, and more.


CREATIVITY 38: The latest volume in the lavishly illustrated Creativity series, the premier annual showcase for outstanding graphic design from around the globe will be distributed internationally by Crescent Hill Books and Harper Collins in early 2009. Jacob Tyler is excited to have been selected by a jury of our peers as a 2008 Creativity 38 Platinum Award Winner for our print design of the Trader Vics Las Vegas Menu System.


Big Book of Logos 5 is the fifth Big Book of Logos book by David E. Carter, and ad agencies and marketing firms throughout the world use it as a reference tool to inspire brainstorming sessions and stimulate graphic design ideas. Jacob Tyler submitted 30 logos, competing against 10,000 other entries. Only 2,500 entries actually are chosen every year to be included in the prestigious book. Needless to say, all 30 JTCG logos were chosen for publication. 🙂


15 of Jacob Tyler’s logos were chosen to be included in Global Corporate Identity 3. This book is the latest in the very successful Global Corporate Identity series, which has become an essential reference for businesspersons everywhere. Showcasing some of the best corporate identity design in the world today GCI3 is a 320-page, full color hardback book. This new volume once again showcases the past year’s best corporate designs in the categories of logos, letterheads, package design, complete identity programs, corporate identity manuals, signage & environmental graphics, and corporate brochures. Featured examples draw on the work of firms from around the world to address the specific challenges of business


MARKET SMART: Great Designs for Specific Target Markets, will be distributed internationally by Crescent Hill Books and Harper Collins in early 2009. Jacob Tyler had 3 Web site campaigns chosen for publication in this book. NIDA for Teens will be showcased in the “Teens & Tweens” chapter, Active.com will be showcased in the “Sports Enthusiasts/Avid Exercisers” chapter and finally, Trader Vics Restaurant viral Web site will be shown in the “Generation X” chapter. JTCG is extremely excited to see our work in this upcoming publication.


Really Good Logos Explained: A collection of 500 great logos critiqued by a panel of internationally acclaimed designers. Really Good Logos Explained, showcases some of today’s top creative minds critique and appraise over 500 examples of truly exceptional logos, and explain what makes them work. Jacob Tyler has three published logos in this book that include University Thongs, Cocchia Clothing, and Vastardis Capital Services.


Really Good Packaging Explained, will be distributed internationally by Crescent Hill Books and Rockport publishers in the Summer of 2009. Each of the 350 package designs selected for the book have been critiqued by industry leaders. These author critiques are succinct and specific, and focus on overall design unity, materials used, effectiveness and in some instances, shape and individuality of the packaging. Jacob Tyler’s Self Promotion Holiday Mailer was chosen as a sample of a successful packaging campaign.
