New Identities

There’s no doubt about it, times are tough. The economy is in the gutter. People are talking about it every day. It’s in the papers, on the news, online and even at the jobs many longer have. Frankly, I am sick of hearing about it. How can companies expect to become better and turn things around when everyone is miserable and terrified of what’s going to happen next? Sometimes we can’t control all of the circumstances we find ourselves in, and letting it ruin every day of our lives certainly isn’t going to help anything- so why not laugh about it? Optimism is the most important thing. It takes more muscles to frown than smile, this too shall pass, yada yada yada, although mockery has always been one of America’s greatest defenses, I think it holds true in this case as well. Some businesses have considered re-branding and are attempting to take on new identities that are tailored to the current economic climate.
