I believe now that most of our clients understand that social media is not a “fad”, however, I don’t quite think most businesses understand that it may not directly correlate to ROI…at least immediately. The most important aspect of Social Media for businesses goes way beyond selling products and services. Social Media now plays a HUGE role in creating a great customer experience and maintaining reputation. Over 25% of Twitters over 200 million users check in and communicate with their phones…trust me, they are talking about YOUR products and services. And that’s JUST Twitter. Facebook members are now 1/12th of the world population…my educated guess is that they are talking too. If you’re not watching, you’re not managing your reputation or taking advantage of sales opportunities.
