Jacob Tyler meets 619 Vodka

Well… we got the bottle samples back from China and they aren’t quite what we wanted based on our delivered design comps (pictured below). Creating this bottle design has been a somewhat difficult task. We have been through countless bottle samples until we finally found a company that would make the bottle with top and bottom ridges (below) in both .750 and 1 liter sizes which is important for distribution in restaurants. Now we are hoping they can get the coloring correct and we are debating on whether to frost the bottle (making the long stripe with “6” and “9” clear) or whether to use a metallic silver. The key is though that is has to stand out amongst all the other bottles while sitting at a bar. The crazy thing is… you wouldn’t believe how many bottles that are barely readable while in a dark bar or just from a slight distance. We are trying to overcome this challenge with the large typography and think this may work… we’ll let you know. In the meantime, feel free to let us know what you think. The splashes of water around the bottle are just to make you think the design is refreshing and better than it really is. haha!
