Summit International Awards Seeks Out Jacob Tyler’s Les Kollegian as Judge for 2012 Creative Summit Award

Kollegian Among Top Creative Minds Hand-Picked for Board of Judges


SAN DIEGO, March 20, 2012 — Summit International Awards (SIA), a globally recognized marketing communications organization, has selectedJacob Tyler’s CEO Les Kollegian to be an international judge for their 2012 Summit Creative Award (SCA). Together with several of the most qualified minds in the creative industry, Kollegian will be tasked with scrutinizing hundreds of creative submissions and selecting amongst the world’s elite creative agencies and personnel.

Since 1994, SIA has organized the international competition as a way to offer small to medium-sized agencies the unique opportunity to showcase their talents alongside similarly positioned companies. The SCA, as one of the three categories lauded by SIA, recognizes creative excellence in advertising and marketing companies, as well as individuals, with billing under $30 million.

“It’s an enormous honor to be asked to judge such a prestigious award,” said Kollegian. “Every one of the SIA competitions bring out great design from amazing global companies. I’m excited to not only be a part of it but to be able to critique my peers’ amazing work.”

Companies and individuals from more than 50 countries and across five continents have participated in this prestigious 18-year competition. SIA, whose aim is to praise the creative work of “less-than-huge” agencies, judges submissions on strength of concept, quality of execution and ability to persuade.

The SIA is the oldest and most prestigious organization conducting an advertising award exclusively for firms with limited billings. SIA administers three distinguished advertising and marketing award competitions throughout the year with the goal of raising the awareness of companies and individuals who have extraordinary creative and marketing talent.

The SIA organization conducts three competitions annually: The Summit Creative Award (SCA)The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award (MEA) and The Summit Emerging Media Award (EMA).

Kollegian and the entire panel will be judging the Summit Creative Award submissions from March 31- April 3, 2012 in Portland, Oregon.
