San Diego, May 15 2013 — Soundcast, a high performance wireless audio company, has chosen Jacob Tyler, a leading San Diego-based branding agency, to develop the new brand and web presence.
Soundcast has launched an exciting new product line of portable weather resistant Wireless Bluetooth® Speaker Systems and accessories beginning with Melody, a speaker designed for outdoors and indoors entertainment. Jacob Tyler has been tasked with helping Soundcast accelerate the development and refinement of its consumer brand strategy and identity. This involves building the full consumer brand and product positioning including naming, logo design, packaging, website design, and marketing collateral.
“As part of our ongoing growth objectives and entry into new consumer markets and distributions channels worldwide, we feel like we finally have the right team and partnership to make it happen,” said Mike Weaver, President of Soundcast. He added, “We’re eager to work with Jacob Tyler and after many interviews with other firms, it was clear that the JT team had the portfolio of work, marketing, brand, and web experience we were seeking.”
As the new Soundcast product and accessory roadmap evolves, Jacob Tyler will continue to support Soundcast with both traditional and interactive marketing initiatives. As well, Jacob Tyler will begin a rebrand of the corporate website, featuring the full line of products.
“When Mike brought Melody into our meeting, I was blown away at the sound quality, and I knew we were working with a cutting-edge product,” said Kollegian, Chief Executive Officer of Jacob Tyler. He added, “As a self proclaimed audiophile, the rich multi-directional sound coming from such a small package was quite a surprise. It’s always easier to build a brand and marketing strategy around a product you really believe in so I have a feeling we will really have great results with Mike and Soundcast. We are beyond excited to be chosen as their agency partner.”
“Working with Jacob Tyler so far on the Melody packaging alone has exceeded our expectations as well as the expectations of our retail partners,” said Weaver. “We are confident that our new product line and relationship with Jacob Tyler will take the company to the next level.”
